Japan to hit Chinese graphite electrodes with anti-dumping duty (source)
This Saturday the Japanese government will have in place 95.2% anti-dumping duty on graphite electrodes. If a final determination confirms that Chinese firms are dumping the products, Japan will impose an additional levy for up to five years.
The US government 'may' make its "tariff/duty" announcements in the coming weeks.
Could this be that graphite prices are about to have its time in the sun?
