these are rock-chips from outcrops. meaning the mineralisation is outcropping and there is very little cover. meaning shallow drilling that does not cost much.
this is first time I am being critical of OB1 and I don't understand why they are not drilling 5x ~70m RC holes through the outcrops that produced the highest gold grades? there is no need to wait for the IP and Gravity study results. Matter of fact these few holes will complement what those studies produce and help narrow down where to drill follow up holes. And considering how shallow these holes will be, the costs are minimal.
and there is always a chance one or two of those holes to actually hit very rich zones of Au and Cu that can help with the struggling share price.
nevertheless, this is good news. lot of samples produced both Au & Cu high grades and pointing the northwest to be the trend to follow.
