there is nobody in this thread thankfully that is a pumper. But yes it is good advise to be aware of

I am like you. I had Mode1971 in the 1990s, early 2000s then Ron gully closed hc.

He closed it from memory 2003 or something. I still remember that being a very sad day and in shock as Facebook etc did not exist for a stock chat.

I stumbled across hc by accident many years later and my old handle was still there.

There is alot less pumping today compared to then I feel, it was shocking then as very little moderation, compared to now on unsavoury practices.
