The classic confirmation bias. First, find the biggest dogs in the sector, post it, and laugh at the investors holding it. This way, one can say this is the true reflection of the sector.
When gold was $1000, the usual momentum trader was late to the game and chin wag of $800, but no qualms laughing at the goldbugs looking at 2 or 3 handle at the 2011 peak though. A decade later, I've yet to see $800.
