Government departments wouldnt be hiring people unless there was a job for them to do. You dont hire someone to just sit around. Much rather have an employee than some consultant from the Big 4 who costs more and is going to use the inside information to screw over taxpayers. Albo did go overboard with immigration and pretty much screwed the housing market for renters and first home buyers. However it has been said its the only reason we didnt go into a recession for those 2 years. Thank god they came to their senses now and cut it right back.
