While I understand the Board’s rationale for withdrawing the proposal amid today’s volatility, this decision highlights why performance rights remain essential. The previously discussed +37% and +64% hurdles (7.3c to 10c and 12c) were ambitious targets. After today's +18% they may seem too close for some people.
A well-structured incentive plan ensures directors and shareholders are aligned in their goals. I hope the Board seizes this opportunity to introduce a refined proposal in the coming weeks.The market has shown confidence in Caprice’s (relatively new) management and projects.
