BLACK SWANS in April
Black Swan 1) On or around 20/4 Trump will invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 (and/or another statute) and with the invitation of Red southern border states will use the US military to round up and deport 530,000 people whose legal status he has changed from legal to illegal and whose legal status switches on 24/4. Legally this action does not constitute martial law (which is undefined under US law) but many commentators will conflate it as such and it will be quite a shock for the US and the world to see the US military in the streets and used in this way.
Black Swan 2) Trump has moved one quarter of the US's stock of B-2 bombers to the Diego Garcia military base on March 26. The planes apparently refuelled here in Australia. The B-2 bombers where also accompanied by mid-air refuelling planes and a spy plane which will give them the capability to reach Iran and return to Diego Garcia. The B-2 bombers have the capacity to carry a range of pay loads including nuclear weapons. They are also the only US aircraft certified to carry the 30,000 pound GBU-57/B massive penetrator bombs. My guess is that this US force posture is either designed to limit Iran's retaliation against an Israeli attack on Iran in the first part of April (7 April is my guess) or to actually use in a direct attack on Iran's nuclear facilities using the massive bombs.
Both of these events, if they occur should help kick the price of gold along and create more fear and uncertainty, not that gold needs much help at the moment.
