I would say to temper expectations. Balama is still not operating. it is extraordinary that this issue has not been resolved. It does not matter what price graphite goes to if SYR cannot mine any. SYR is facing another capital raise at this rate just to stay solvent. Then Trump is such a wild card, and I am being polite he may do nothing about raising the tariffs against China graphite. He seems to have folded to Russia and China. Shorts could be leaving because there is a sovereign risk now for SYR or just because no one knows what is about to happen including shorts so they are playing safe. There are numerous other companies that are better short targets than SYR at the moment. I would have really love to know the Citibank reasons for pulling short positions. What do they know we don’t? Hoping for some Tesla deal is also questionable. Tesla have had tons of time to stockpile and the way Musk is going Tesla could be bankrupt in a couple of years. Musk has alienated his entire market. Sales are collapsing in Europe and China and the US ( go figure it’s Democrats who buy EVs).
I may sound negative but I have become sceptical that SYR have some sort of inability to resolve issues. On top of that the baggers lost their third game in a row last night and I bet that with the roof closed at Marvel on such a humid night I probably caught covid (again) or maybe had it before going and passed it on to my closest 1000 fellow fans.
