Your SPR move is a correlated move to RMS gains as SPR holders eventually swap for RMS stock.

I've warned market participants many times not to see Gold stocks as being equivalent to Gold as a safe haven. While physical Gold is, but gold stocks won't perform well in market adversity, only when the general equity market is not in distress while Gold rises.

I was understating things by using one day. The longer the period the bigger the SPR gain.

yes a new look required given the take over but plenty of synergies and some cash.
