However, with the number of shares he now owns, he has a greater incentive to get the company back up and running, focused on a new drug (Vs just taking in the pay cheque) and getting the SP back into double cents figures. Also, just to be clear (and I do realise I may sound like Liberal snob saying this), his salary is not that extravagant. Crickey, I know FIFO workers up in the mines with no degree that can earn close to that when on the right roster! I dare say that JG could probably earn more than his salary in big pharma in a mid-level Executive position (and with a lot less stress!). Trust me when I say, his salary is not that impressive for a CEO and would not get him very far if he just ended up roaming the streets playing Pokemon Go!
