So many factors to consider in the negotiations, I imagine. To take an extreme example, what if both parties have to acknowledge that what takes their new device to the next level is AXE's tech, and without it we don't have a groundbreaking, stand-out product? In those circumstances, AXE would be in a box seat to ask for a bigger share of the joint profits. In the end, I suppose, it's all a matter of who brings what to the table.
