i use the 25% rule myself in quite a lot of business deals I have done. Its nice and clean and normally it has become passive income for myself as after my intial contribution I dont have to do much more than attend a few meetings.
Plenty of ways to divvy up the spoils on commercial agreements that's why no point holding them up on the collaboration aspects while it gets ironed out.
