Dont get too excited over CO2 injection for EOR. Some are making it sound so simple but there can be problems. Amongst these is subsequent leakage/escape of the CO2 either through natural rock fractures or through old abandoned oil/gas wells. Many wells on the old fields predate the 1950's and the old abandoned wells may not have been plugged properly, or even at all. A discussion of possible problems is in detail on

Now I am a long term holder and are very pleased with recent progress but caution that their EOR may face setbacks and may take longer than some anticipate.
