re: ripe and ramping Hopefully I did not get subconsciously affected by ramping I did my own research on PBI and its competitors ResMed, Respironics and Compumedics, reading the annual reports for all of them.
I suggest others do the same befor buying this, as it is very speculative, fro the following reasons:
it has droped in price as low as 8 cents in the past on no bad news.
the present cash position is probably only 1/7 of its cap which is not good.
respironics have a very good product called smart monitor for babies suffering Apnea therefore reducing the likelihood of commercial success for the the pulmosonde an airway clear products from PBI. smart monitor 2 was not around when airway clear was developed
Good points
However the pulmoscreen product for emphesema shows plenty of promise to be developed in the next 18 months, and a $500k grant from the Government is available at its completion (should slow the burn rate).
the company has low admin costs less than 200k a quarter and research costs are taken care of by listing employee options, and simbioticly working with a hospital
The chairman has successfully made a company making hepatitis vaccines successfull in getting a JV with royalties.
The company has a relatively low cap considering the potential.
Directors are not selling shares/options
