My car only needs to stop for 12 minutes charge to get from sunshine coast to Toowoomba and back. And that's from a start with 90% charge. (Btw, this app is very conservative - can probably do it with much less).
But why would you want to spend 5 and a half hours driving for a return day trip????
What a waste of a day.
It's not something I would do and probably the real reason why your mates faces turn pale when you suggest it.
