The only way any of this makes sense is that Miller, in some sort of deluded fashion, has talked the others into funding the newco, on the basis that he still believes the newco can run a license agreement with realtek keeping the profits for themselves, with zero debt from oldco in the way, shareholders in the way or the ASX rules and regulations in the way.

That is the only explanation that makes any sense here, and they are on a 6 mill gamble that realtek would l still want the license once the dust settles. I dont think realtek will do it, i beleive they can simply switch to Alango, but these are Millers mates, and no doubt another story has been spun.
