F.k it - we are out of money. Maybe this plan will work?
- put $1 mill aside to operate one hx, 3 people + mainteanance should cover for at least one year - if in next 3 months all the wheeling and dealing has delivered nothing of substance, then shut everything down, and all staff except the following: - a sales person to sell walls (but not Mike as he cant sell icy cold beer in a heatwave) - Mark can be the CAD operator, and backup operator for the hx - Mike can do the tapping and wedging - engineers and machinists to finish the remaining hxs (but send them on extended leave until the current hx starts earning money)
The hx should earn money even if we sell the walls at half price (which is what the JV would have given us)
When demand increases complete the other 2 hxs and get more operators.
