President Donald Trump is scheduled to announce new trade policies, referred to as “reciprocal tariffs,” today, Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) in the White House Rose Garden. This corresponds to 4 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025, in Perth, Western Australia. The White House has indicated that these tariffs will take effect immediately following the announcement.
