I mean this with the most respect.

If you don't like rollercoasters, buy a bank, or get a Term Deposit.

There are no guarentees in the market, and if you're in a stock for a punt without realising potential benefit/risk for holding that stock then you have to accept you have taken a gamble and be prepared to lose it all.

However if you have made an informed decision, allocated capital accordingly and have a plan if the stock rises/falls - stick to your guns and only adjust your plan if there is unexpected news or some event that will drastically change things.
