What a circus.
Yes, I actually believe the offer was genuine, and sure, I get why they’d reject it. But once again, the way they handled it screams a level of amateurism that’s genuinely impressive... it’s practically an art form.
A 200%+ premium and the stock only bumps 30%? That says everything you need to know about the market’s trust in this management team (i.e., absolutely none).
And then there’s the way they “disclosed” it. Tucked away at the bottom of a Secondary Trading Notice like it’s some minor housekeeping item. Brilliant.
What a golden opportunity to finally excite your long-suffering shareholders, and they manage to fumble that too. Whether or not it would’ve helped in the long run is debatable, but hey, at least pretend to care.
That said… it did give me a nice entry at open. Already sold half for a tidy little profit. Stop-loss is tight on the rest.
