A couple of reasons to be honest and this is my opinion only. I will also add that I am in another country to you (NZ)?
I joined GFT after getting an offer through HC. The person that contacted me was very profesional and straight up. Funded the account the next week and I was away laughing, no drama what so ever.
Now this brings me to CMC. As I said I am in NZ and don't have a GFT office here so I have to make a toll call, email or live chat to make contact with GFT. So I trade CFD equites aswell and thought I would have a look at some of the spreads on offer at CMC. Great so open an account, and thought sweet this should be easy as they have an office here. Not so. Can hardly get the phone answered to do deals over the phone. Not sure if it's because here in NZ they are alot smaller but still get transferred through to Australia. Customer service are terrible and to be honest, comparing them to GFT are in another league. The GFT Iphone app works well too.
These are my experiences and have since not opened another trading account with another company.
I would appreciate any recommendations to any good trading platfroms in regards to shorting spreads.
