    Get a life mate.
    When I think a stock is going to go up I buy and hopefully sell later at a profit.
    When I think a stock is going to go down I sell and hopefully buy back cheaper. If I don't hold any of that stock but still want to sell I will go short and hopefully buy back cheaper.
    It is called stock trading.
