In my despondency today i muse whether our management are in fact too straight edged for the murky world of the asx 200. Perhaps the way to counter this relentless shorting would be to whisper a few off the record comments near some friendly journos about informal takeover discussions that may or maynot have taken place. Not legal. Not ethical but im sure the other side are not playing with a straight bat.
