Promoting its status as a critical minerals powerhouse by leveraging its enviable status as a stable and wealthy country, US surplus and sovereign-trust to haggle with the Trump Administration for an exemption from 10% global tariffs.
Australian Treasurer Jim Chalmers said:
“Critical minerals is a big part of the advantage that we have in our trading relationships and in the discussions, ongoing discussions, that we're having with the U.S.,”
