    Media bias swings both ways and is usually dependent upon who owns them. Private media generally lean to the right because they are often owned and influenced by very wealthy individuals and generally speaking the rich lean to the right. There are exceptions.

    Government funded media on the other hand almost always lean heavily to the left as do the public service, publicly funded educational institutions etc.

    Both sides are in an endless struggle to manipulate as many people as possible by tarnishing the news with their opinions, or at least the opinions that it suits them to have you hear or see.

    Don't be fooled into believing that right bias is any worse than left bias. Both are hugely noticeable when you are in the middle.
