Slightly diff perspective - price in USD/t. Exchange rate at time of posting is 0.5999 so today's price is A$14,592.86/t
For reference, on the 25th March (green candle near upper trend), LME copper closed at $10,118.5 and AUD was 0.637 so copper price was A$15,884.62. This means an 8% fall in price of copper relative to AUD:USD since 25/03/2025.
Based on Entropylord's post re hedging, current hedges are A$14000 for 30% production. So some changes financially for HGO -8% reduction in unhedged income.
I did ask a question that in a recent post but don't have the answer as yet: Is all of HGO's production sold regardless of how much is produced or is there a maximum delivered quantity atm?
