The Louisiana deal (although not closed yet) and the fall of the Aussie dollar saved WDS from a further drop today due to the oil price fall. The Average realised price for WDS from last financial year was $63.60/boe. I'm expecting a fall in this for the rest of the year maybe the high $50's due to OPEC+ increases.. A fall of the Aussie dollar due to more anticipated RBA interest rate cuts could negate the fall in the WDS Average realised price though. Overall I'm expecting this new (lower) range for the rest of the year.. unless OPEC+ alters it's new production policy or the Aussie dollar heads much lower which would increase the range.
