chelkn, why do you say Palmary has to show his hand? If he's agreed to take the Regent bid, for whatever reason, he just has to sit back, vote to approve and pick up his cheque.
Agreed its a win-win for Regent, either they get bci cheaply or another bid comes along, they sell at a profit and re-invest elsewhere. The former is more likely imo. The most obvious buyer in the market is Regent, they save a few cents and increase their chance of winning.
