    Hi.

Just checking what are the tax implications for the merger of CAJ and IDX for CAJ shareholders like myself.

From the ATO Class ruling https://integraldiagnostics.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/cr2025-015-CAJ-Scrip-Ruling.pdf

can i just transfer the cost base of my CAJ shares accross to IDX without capital gains implications - until I sell my IDX shares.
eg $10,000 inital cost base for CAJ = $10,000 initial cost base for IDX? - or per share cost base of $10,000/number of IDX shares received. ?
