well once the XTClave is actually assembled in Ohio, the product will be manufactured in the USA, but that is not what I posted about
it was about the components & costs that contribute to what goes into that armour........unlike donny & his crack economic team, most economists understand that 'liberation day' does not mean that raw material & components that have been previously imported from around the globe all of a sudden get supplied from within USA.
An added potential issue for XTE is that China has put export controls on most rare earths and it seems like one of them (yttrium) may be used in ceramic body armour; maybe there are alternatives in this application, but donny is too stupid and/or lazy to understand that the world, trade & supply chains are complex & complicated
