If I was Nick and I looked at NTU being slowly bought up by Conling Lui, almost to the legal limit before a takeover bid must be made and I would be looking at how that eventuality may be averted. Perhaps Nick is currently buying NTU to keep all the bases covered. Who knows, but there are many scenarios like this that would require him not to broadcast what he is doing.
