I do think the speech was designed to be VERY emotive and I personally can't stand that. It is possible to give respect and the utmost sympathy without all that rhetoric. A five minutes silence would have meant more to me. Clearly all seem pretty tired (especially PM ) and it is only the beginning of the year.
