I think you might have it the wrong way round, Gharp. If gas prices crash, then the Peaker Plant will mean that they can still get rid of their gas at a good profit by converting into electricity.
You should be worried about the electricity price of electricity crashing. With the closing of the coal-fired power stations and the intermittent nature of renewables, this is not going to happen.
