I agree with your base argument of Cn domination, however the way the US has attempted to sledgehammer this issue will fail and will not create the environment necessary for allied nations to correctly resolve or reduce the base issue.

Also, have a look back a few months of my posts in RNU and you'll find a post where I posit the core issue is that people want cheap stuff regardless of where or how it's made. Look to the people around you and see how many of those people have bought something that's Chinese made is some way or shape..parts for your car, the tools you buy at bunnings, clothes. I'll wager even with your point of view, you too have bought something recently that's made in China. Yes?

As for recessions; have you ever lived through one? I doubt you'd choose to live through one If you already have. If you haven't, find out what a global recession is really like, there's a few cases in recent history. COVID and GFC was a walk in the park compared to a real global recession. Mate, open your mind and have a think about what you're really suggesting and while you're at it, do some research and find out who benefits in a recession.
