Let’s hope it happens. Plus you’d get the huge MSCI world weighting for the merged entity and ASX for passive flows. It would probably be more beneficial to actually be listed in the US for such a size, liquidity and index weighting and inclusion into S&P500 as a top 20 stock by market cap. But franking credits would be an issue, ie loss of them.
