Hi Itstime, I bought KNL/EGR many years ago and thought that it could be a dividend payer within a few years. Sadly it never eventuated. My thoughts on the question you posed that providing EVERYTHING went well from here it is possible that in four years + a dividend may be possible. They may choose however to pay down debt or expand operations instead. If your friend is buying in the hope of a dividend there are many stocks that offer not only good dividends but potential of upside atm.
