If they were announcing an acquisition, I'm sure they would have said it in the announcement. The pessimistic view is that perhaps the sales aren't going as expected and the extension of sales force is to try to capture other jurisdictions due to low sales volumes. Hence, the need for more funds. Plus I'm sure management need money to keep riding the gravy train
