Sorry to butt in but i think its best to stick with the schedule provided with the peaker FID announcement which shows commisioning around Sept 26. This is a substantial project!
Civil works, massive shed build, km of new powerline, yes jenbachers will be delivered this year. A house takes 4-6 months to build, this is a tad bigger and we've only just started siteworks.
Also with previous comments about the peaker. We can't say it isn't making a profit until 2031, profit will be revenue and credits less OPEX, interest etc... We can't say paying off capital is a lost expense when it is creating an asset. Once complete and proven there will be much less risk and opportunity to refinance if required.
The big risk lies with the state govt continuing to pay credits and what rate will apply. Could go much higher or much lower?
