This is all great stuff. We all need too get serious about the letters we are writing to these politicians. We can't only come across like a bunch of whinging sharehlders. We must be well versed in the technology and it benefits to: *QLD people
*communities like Kingaroy - economy, jobs, small business
*Qld's power industry
We need facts, which I will be attaining very shortly for you all. The action group will assist you in arming us with this knowledge.
People like poyndexter are spot on with their understanding of the issues threatening CXY in QLD and Australia, and possibly China due to DERM's actions. Read his posts.
DERM'S reasons for abandoning the plant are finicky.
For eg; With only 2 samples of benzene at 2 ppb this is very strict. These bores aren't even meant for human consumption. They are stock water bores and possibly even too saline for stock. WHO standards 10ppb of benzene for drinking water. DERM seems to just pluck a figure out of the air, that can be exceeded by the CBM industry WITHOUT CLOSURE.
These sorts of discrepancies need to be hammered home to politicians and journos ASAP.
