I see in IDX's 1H FY25 results they also talk about the upcoming launch of the national lung screening program... not sure this is getting enough attention. Maybe IDX/4DX partnering up to deliver the tech?
National Lung Cancer Screening Program On 1 July 2025, the Federal Government will launch the National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP) and has committed to expenditure of $264m over four years. This program will use low dose Chest CT’s to screen for lung cancer in asymptomatic high-risk populations, including all smokers and ex-smokers. We expect this program will have far-reaching beneficial impacts for several hundred thousand patients as disease will be detected earlier, expediting effective intervention and treatment.
