Hi DrT, I'm not overjoyed with progress or share price trajectory, but I'm not yet distressed about our final destination.
I just wanted to share some of my recent experience if I could.
2 months ago while on holiday in Maroochydore, my partner woke me saying she'd had a rectal bleed.
Toilet bowl full of blood.
Got her to Buderim Private Hospital, bloods taken, examination and CT scan, which revealed a 45x35mm
mass in her transverse colon.
We travelled home, referred to a gastroenterologist, who during a colonoscopy removed part of the polyp.
The base wouldn't release, but pathology revealed cancer in the biopsied part polyp. Then referred to
colorectal surgeon who would remove 25-30 cm of her colon, which would then have pathology done
on the remaining polyp base and surrounding lymph nodes.
6 nights in hospital and an appointment today with the surgeon revealed no sign of cancer and no need for
follow up chemotherapy. You can imagine our joy. Tears and hugs with the surgeon.
The point I'm wanting to make, is how the endeavors of not only RAC but everyone everywhere working
in the medical field to advance better treatment of this horrible disease, are so very appreciated by us,
and if people who can survive through these advancements can feel as lucky, relieved, euphoric and
happy emotional as us and the many relatives and friends my partner Debbie was informing today,
then I'm happy to be invested. Go RAC.
