    Shares often fall on the release of announcements as a result of being fully anticipated due to those who bought earlier on anticipation selling for a capital gain! You never buy on announcements, you buy on the rumour of a pending announcement!!!
    The only time a share will go up after an announcement is if it has not been fully anticipated!!1
