Unfortunately polls not looking good for Dutton. Can't understand why the polls have turned so sharply for Albo. Guess people prefer driving off a cliff at 60 mph rather than 30. Dutton has played too safe. Should have scrapped net zero, made the case for replacing our old coal fired plants with new high efficiency plants, scrapped DEI in Government and bigger reduction in immigration. If you can't argue your case, you shouldn't be in politics. As it is, both major parties are pretty similar and just arguing around the edges.

I suspect we are experiencing what Elon talked about in LA and other ‘sanctuary cities’. Importing so many immigrants that it turns the voting permanently blue in their case, red in ours. As soon as Dutton made any sort of anti immigration policy he nuked his chances.
