I think the significance of today's market release is that OZM's new thinking is that the primary source of the paleo gold is probably from this New Cross Fault discovery. This wasn't the case before today's market release. Before, OZM's thinking was that the primary source was from the opposite direction (probably from Cross Fault 1). This is huge news IMHO because if OZM's new thinking is correct, then there's an enhanced chance that New Cross Fault is hiding a nice chunky primary orebody. All speculation until the drill bit proves or disproves it though haha! At the end of the day, I think people forget that this part of the Eastern goldfields has only really seen 30 odd years of meaningful exploration. So there are still alot of unknowns and alot of puzzles still to solve and alot of deposits still lurking to be found. Case in point, take NST, they're still making discoveries that are probably still surprising them! And these are only 4-5 kms away! Check out NST's Qena and Atbara discoveries. No guarantees that OZM has any big deposits waiting to be found on its land, or if it has, that OZM will find them (unless you believe the big man can unlock the door hiding them haha!).
