- The little deposit is an important component of Utah point hub model which needs the ore from various sources (iron valley, wonmunna and now little lamb) to be blended to achieve a consistent product for exporting to China - Additional 10mtpa for 3-5 years is meaningful volume and that also 100% MinRes - Biggest advantage here is that it leverages existing infra and facilities at the Pilbara hub and will lead to cost synergies and reduce overall cost per tonne - Not too much capex as this just need a crushing and screening plant, local infrastructure and a ~15KM road - Timeline to production is relatively quick I believe with FY26
Now, not sure if MinRes will press the button on it just yet given their situation but regardless of that this is a good outcome.
