mmm.....u might be onto something fletch.....makes sense...wesfarmers or woolies would love the chain for instance. i think tragically for the short termers that the board should do something useful and form an alliance with the money instead of a big one off payout. In fact it would show a lack of entrepreneurianism (??) if they couldn't come up with some plan. But majority holders probably want the big payout to protect their numbers short term.
General consensus seems to be that it will drop ex divi to a corresponding amount....although i ain't so sure....surely sip in the high 20's/low 30's is tin cup company level (which it ain't??) and wouldn't last long before approaching high 30's again????
Anyway I'm quite comfortable waiting it out for now!
