Im not sure who mentioned it recently, but surely if the decree was going to be a 'No' then the Senegalese govt could swiftly give this a response, it simply has to be more complicated and hence the wait.

IMO, African petroleum are going to be part of a JV puzzle, that includes part of their A1 A4 blocks to the South in Gmabia, where they have just completed their 3D seismic (results being interpreted now). Some of the preliminary targets in the north of their Gambia blocks, overlap FAR's Senegal blocks in the SOuth. Perhaps their are synergies with AP. THey JV with FAR/Ophir in Senegal and we get a piece of Gambia. Sounds like trade week?!?!?

This would give FAR massive acreage in West Africa, with a current MC of 180m (see recent presentation notes comparing to peers to see how this compares). Unrisked potential of 9 billion barrels across their prospects.....maybe more if they farm into Gambia A1 A4.

IMO and I agree with the poster who mentioned this (sorry I forget who posted this) the application is more complicated than meets the eye. I know things move slowly in Africa, but not this slow. Its neally 3 months overdue....this is stalling the Senegal JV (which has now been 18mths since Shell walked).

The SP is hovering.....waiting for the decree/farm in to come through......and then for Kora.

Hold and you will be rewarded imo.
