Yes, but big movements in shares held by nominees like JPM can hide increases/ decreases of positions of actual beneficial owners.
So it’s worth keeping an eye on this isn’t it? (Genuine question)
I agree that it does not have the same import as notices of substantial holdings by fund managers such as Fidelity, which represent actual purchases or sales by those entities.
