You do what ever you like poyny. Personally I think the W/E Ponderings thread is the place for the whole lot of it; comments, analysis, holidays, family reunions, buy and sell, weather events etc.
Everyone will notice that there is a DJPIN Forum and a Djpin topic; there is a reason for this. The Djpin competition was cluttering the DJPIN Forum and the powers to be wanted the competition separated. Worked well but the DJPIN Forum slowly lost contributions. For me the 'topic' is a game the 'forum' the serious stuff. I don't want to read the serious stuff in the game.
I believe the competition should remain exactly that; a competition with banter as it has been previously expressed. Others may think it should be a full blown interactive thread each night. Something wrong in that scenario because we are forever telling each other do not post here as a result of replies.
Some may appreciate the analysis and comments others may not. Some may find it helpful others merely noise.
