A bit of Lynas trivia. Years ago Lynas released an investor presentation mentioning reverses of Scandium at Mt Weld. Which was followed by a correction to the ASX two days later removing the reference.
So I believe there is Scandium within the Mt Weld ore body, just not where they are mining currently nor properly expored and defined.
The point of the post is to say the Mt Weld ore body is huge and has many other minerals beyond what they are currently mining and the quoted >25 year mine life. Once the infrastructure is built at Mt Weld the business case to mine other areas will expand further.
